Poale Zion Organization
Southwestern Jewish Press June 12, 1953 Page 7

San Diego Chaim Weitzmann branch of the Poale Zion Organization will celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of this great Zionist movement in our country.  The event will be in the form of an Anniversary dinner at the El Cortez Hotel on Sunday, June 14th at 6:30 p.m.

Back in February, we had the pleasure of a visit from Rabbi Josef Miller, executive secretary of Poale Zion in Los Angeles.  His pleasing personality, enthusiasm and knowledge of the Labor Zionist movement created a most favorable impression and we will be privilege to have him as our guest speaker for this grand occasion.  There will also be shown for the first time, one of the latest moving pictures filmed in Israel.

In charge of arrangements for this dinner are Mrs. B. Mallen, Rubin Umansky and Bernard Veitzner.
