Wednesday, June 27
Jewish Music Festival—An evening of Jewish Music is offered in a cooperative program among the San Diego Center for Jewish Culture, Jazz 88, and Twilight in the Park, beginning at 6:15 p.m at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park.

Friday, June 29
Talent Show—Singing, dancing, playing musical instruments—seniors at Jewish Family Service's College Avenue Senior Center, 4855 College Avenue, strut their stuff in a performance beginning at 12:30 p.m. (619) 583-3300

Tuesday, July 3
Independence Day Celebration—Jewish Family Service's College Avenue Senior Center at 4855 College Avenue gets a one-day jump on the nation's birthday with a patriotic musical salute to America beginning at 12:45 p.m. Attendees should wear red, white and blue.

Saturday, July 21
Humanistic Shabbat—Beverly Zarnow, madrikha of the Humanistic Jewish Congregation, discusses the question: "Which is ore important, supporting the Jewish people or supporting a Jewish individual?" during a Shabbat celebration at 10:30 a.m. at the Woman's Club of Carlsbad, 3320 Mornoe. Sunday, August 5
Jewish Music Festival—Shira Kline, known to her young audiences as ShirLaLa offers two performances at 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. of “outrageously hip Jewish music for kids” at the Lawrence Family JCC.

Sunday, September 9
Humanistic Jewish School Potluck—San Diego Humanistic Jewish Congregation hosts a potluck picnic breakfast at 10 a.m. at Standley Community Center in the university City area to introduce its curriculum focusing on Jewish ethics, history, and culture.
