Cantor Sheldon Merel

Sheldon Merel was the longtime cantor of Congregation Beth Israel and is now cantor emeritus. In retirement, he remains a most active community volunteer, a vocalist, an inspiration to aspiring cantors, and a favorite personality among both Jews and Gentiles in San Diego.
