newsletter, page 11: Nov. 26 was a milestone event in Scripps La Jolla patient,
Laura Simon's lifeshe turned 100 years old. The award winning writer and
artist kicked up her heels at a party given by the Senior Center at the
University City Jewish Community Center, celebrating her journey of a lifetime.

is not easy." She equates the journey to Shakespeare's seven stages of
life, beginning life in infancy, going through the stages of growth until one
goes full circle back into infancy. And in response to a request to share
a secret about her, she replied, "I know who I am. There are no more
secrets."
