Yeshiva University decides to field a crew team. They practice for hours every day but always come in dead last in every race.

Finally, Yankel decides to spy on the Columbia University crew, which wins many races. After a day of watching Columbia practice he returns to Yeshiva University.

"I have figured out their secret," he tells the rest of the team. "We've  been doing it backwards."

"What do you mean?"

"They have eight guys rowing and one guy shouting."
