Rabbi Ronald Gerson

Anyone interested in San Diego Jewish history is familiar with the master's thesis that Rabbi Gerson wrote at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in 1974.  Entitled "Jewish Religious Life in San Diego, CA, 1851-1918," this work is on file in the California Room of the San Diego Public Library and at the San Diego Historical Society. I was privileged to cite his work in my book: Louis Rose: San Diego's First Jewish Settler and Entrepreneur.
