I'd like to honor Annette Segal.  She's the daughter of Holocaust survivors and had done a tremendous job of educating students and teachers about the Holocaust. She's developed materials on her own with grant money and has has a great impact on the Jewish and non-Jewish local community on this topic. Also, she developed the innovative program of coaching San Diego Jewish educators on curriculum and more effective classroom strategies.
