January 13, 1950— Lou Mogy, "Sports Around Town," Southwestern Jewish Press, page 5: ...The last Guardian meeting was terrific. Sam Addleson did a good job in his presentation of a plaque to Federal Judge Jacob Weinberger. A night in the near future will be set aside for "Joke Night." There will be contestants and the one who gets the biggest laugh will receive a trophy. So far some of the contestants are Ida Wax, Moe Hershey and Murray Goodrich. Are there any others?
