SAN DIEGO--While growing up, I was told that I ask a lot of questions. It seemed like a criticism at the time; yet my ability to ask questions has been an asset as a reporter. Using tact and empathy helps me to ask questions in a conversational not confrontational manner. Recently Joseph Finder, New York Times Best Selling Author, said during an interview his basic mode "is not to be confrontatonal but empathic." Finder said: "They're doing me a favor" by granting me an interview.

student playwrights, a professional surfer, and many unsung heroes committed to repairing the world through tikkun olam.
To further my journalism career, I’ve been attending classes at UCSD for a certificate in Feature Writing. and am preparing to teach a writing workshop at a Writer’s Conference. Last September I had no idea that I would become a journalist. Sometimes we don't know whre our journey will lead unil we take a chance.
May you enjoy a happy, healthy, prosperous new year filled with serendipity, good friends and fond memories. Till we meet again at SARA-N-DIPITY PLACE.

Hi Sara. We left for Israel right after the concert, and I never got a chance to tell you I enjoyed and appreciated your article. Thanks so much. And hopefully we’ll have more klezmer music AND more soup again next year.
All the best,
