According to the U.S. State Department, Angolan human rights abuses include:
*Unlawful killings by police, military, and private security forces;.
*Torture, beatings, and harsh and life-threatening prison conditions.
*
Corruption and impunity;
*
Arbitrary arrest and detention.
*Restrictions on freedom of speech.
*Forced evictions without compensation; and discrimination and domestic violence and abuse against women and children.
Not sounding like too much fun?
Then why not try Saudi Arabia? (Question only for non-Jews; it’s illegal for Jews to visit Saudi Arabia ). In Saudi Arabia, you will find:
*Citizens do not have the right or the legal means to change their government.
*Security forces abuse detainees and prisoners, arbitrarily arrest and detain persons, and hold them in incommunicado detention.
*
Most trials are closed, and defendants usually appear before judges without legal counsel.
*
The Government prohibits or restricts freedom of speech, the press, assembly, association, religion, and movement.
Do I even have to mention Cuba, that well known defender of human rights?
Guilty as charged. Now let's investigate
These countries are much better known for their abuse of their own citizens that producing Nobel Prize winners. Yet besides sharing government systems which would make a

proud fascist blush, they also serve on that esteemed arbiter of human rights, the United Nations Human Rights Council.
The UNHRC has never once uttered a syllable about the horrible human rights situations within some of the states of its own members. No, the only actions that this group of clowns seems to take is to condemn Israel, a democratic nation with an independent judiciary and a press so free that it regularly makes stuff up.
It was the UNHRC that pronounced Israel guilty of committing horrible human rights abuses – ”crimes against humanity” — after Israel attacked the terrorists in Gaza. After pronouncing Israel guilty, they then decided to investigate the facts of Israel’s guilt by sending a representative to interview Palestinians in Gaza and ask them how guilty the IDF had been.
Lo and behold, we now have the Goldstone Report. Based on interviews with impartial Palestinians who have grown up believing that Jews eat babies, the report indeed concluded that Israel is guilty as charged accused.
Hamas, of course, could not be prouder. They will most certainly reward the impartial Palestinians who gave testimony by not killing them. After all, respect for human rights means you only kill political opponents and those who give interviews you don’t like.
So now the impartial investigator will report back to the impartial Human Rights Council who will decide whether to charge Israel in the impartial International Criminal Court.
I wonder if Quadafi is free to preside over the trial?
Any wonder what the verdict will be?
The only crime against humanity is that representatives of countries where rapists and murderers are government officials sit and judge the defensive actions of a democracy.
Do you have any doubt that had the UNHRC been around during the Holocaust, they would have investigated the human rights crimes by the Jews during the Warsaw Ghetto revolt?
Goebbels would be proud.
