This contest is over. We have three winners. Congratulations to Ernest Addleson, Leslie Simon and Richard Lennon

Win free tickets to 'Sammy' by answering two quiz questions

We have three pairs of tickets to the Old Globe's production of Sammy to give away. The first three readers after 8 a.m. today to answer these questions correctly will win a voucher good for a pair of tickets. Answers to: editor@sandiegojewishworld.com, along with your name, postal mailing address, phone number, and email. The time stamp on the email answers will determine whose answers came first, after 8 a.m. Sept. 22nd.

Question #1--Click the Old Globe ad in the next column. Who wrote the book, music and lyrics for Sammy?

Question #2--Jewish historical trivia: Two Jewish members of the early San Diego Chargers are now members of the Football Hall of Fame. Name either one _______________.

Send your answers as soon after 8 a.m. possible, because there are only three sets of tickets to give away. We will post a notice on this website when the winners have been determined. Good luck!
